Never leave any used products like steel wool or rags inside unattended. Rags should allowed to dry. Many, but not all, strippers clean or deactivate with water. Again, please read manufacturers instructions for proper disposal preparation and disposal.     Stripper: Pressings If removing finish from pressings , be sure to use liquid strip (a.k.a thin strip). Then remove finish with a brass brush or an old tooth brush.
